For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 2 Pet. 2:4-5
Prayer
I will be an influence of righteousness. Have mercy upon me O God and please fill my heart with a burning desire for righteousness like Noah. Deliver me from being a cowardly Christian who blends in with the crowd. Stir me to be courageous in standing against any evil that I will confront today. Grant me an opportunity today to spread Your word of truth in humility to a co-worker, friend or stranger that needs deliverance from the chains of darkness, sin, and despair. In the wonderful name of Jesus.
