He was despised and rejected by men,a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Prayer
Jesus is risen! God of love and life, I glory in the cross of Jesus and rejoice in the triumph of His resurrection over sin and death. Thank you for bringing all humanity who believes in Him forgiveness of sins, new life and new hope through His sorrows and sufferings. Lord Jesus, let the spirit of Your love reign in my heart that I may be an effective influence for the unsaved. In Your holy name.
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the promise, prayer, and song of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "Christ, the Way, the Truth, & the Life" is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
