Prayer
God is near. Let Your presence enter my heart Lord Jesus, like the rays of the sun fall upon the earth. Your nearness calms my soul and drives away all my fears. You have promised to be near to those who have a broken heart, and You save the contrite in spirit. I invite You to come into my heart and let me experience Your nearness and presence today. In You blessed name I pray. Amen
GOD IS ALWAYS NEAR ME
God is always near me,
Hearing what I say;
Knowing all my thoughts and deeds,
All my work and play.
God is always near me,
In the darkest night,
He can see me just the same
As by midday light.
God is always near me,
Though young or old;
Not a look, or word, or thought,
But God knows my all in all.
