For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Romans 4:2-3
Prayer
I believe O LORD, help me overcome my unbelief. Lord Jesus, I want to grow in faith like Abraham, believing that all things are possible with God. Deliver me from being a double-minded Christian that buckles under pressure and is tossed to and fro when my faith is tested. Grant me Lord Jesus mustard seed faith to believe in You regardless of my feelings or outward circumstances. Teach me to prevail in faith by learning to rest upon Your unfailing promises. I am learning to take captive every doubt, every opposing imagination, and every evil thought to Your obedience for You are my Lord and Savior. In Your precious name I pray. Amen
