Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham's offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. Romans 4:16
Prayer
God’s promises are not earned. Loving Father, I seek to be a Christian of faith like Abraham who believed and trusted in Your promises. Deliver me from living under the law, thinking I can please You by my performance or good works. Please help me conquer the enemies of doubt and self-condemnation in my heart and mind. Teach me to walk in the footsteps of Abraham’s faith by resting upon the works and righteousness of Jesus Christ who loved me and gave His life to save me from condemnation. In His wonderful name I pray
