Today's Bible Promise - "Newness of the Spirit" Romans 7:6

But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. Romans 7:6 NKJV

Prayer
I am a new creation, no longer enslaved to the law or my sin. Lord Jesus, teach me to walk in the newness of the Spirit that You have given me. Change my heart O Lord that I may learn to pray and praise You at all times. Stir me to read and live Your Word each day that I may have light and understanding. Train me to be a loving and considerate Christian to my family, friends, co-workers and strangers, helping them whenever I can. Deliver me from living a pretentious Christian life that has no effect on others. Turn my heart away from the evil of this world and let me experience newness of life by loving God with all of my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind, and with all of my strength. In Your mighty name I pray
