Perseverance: Steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement; Continuance in a state of grace to the end, leading to eternal salvation
Prayer
Blessed is a man (woman) who perseveres under trial. Lord Jesus, please help me remember that You are using trials, difficulties, and sickness to form my character and prepare me for glory. Enable me to persevere in fulfilling all of my duties as a faithful Christian in my workplace, home, church and school. Teach me to keep my eyes fixed on You that I may persevere in hope all the days of my life here on earth. Grant me inner strength to follow Your example in pressing forward to the finish line. In Your holy name I pray
