Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6
Prayer
Jesus makes my life complete. Loving Father, I praise You for planting eternity in my heart. I want to be passionately committed to hungering and thirsting for righteousness every day like Jesus. Give me a hate for sin and a love for righteousness. Fill me with a hunger and thirst to do acts of righteousness in my workplace and school without being a performance based Christian. Don't let me be deceived by the trinkets of this world or settle for the small half-hearted satisfaction of being financially wealthy. I realize that the hunger and the thirst of my life can only be satisfied by the Lord Jesus Himself. In His name I pray, amen.
Hunger And Thirst - by David Moffitt, Sue C. Smith
//I hunger and thirst for You//
In the desert of my need
You're the fountain that I seek
You're the Living Water I keep running to
Heaven's Manna Bread of Life
Fill the emptiness inside
Nothing else can satisfy me like You do
//I hunger and thirst for You//
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the promise, prayer, and song of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "Christ, the Way, the Truth, & the Life" is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
