Peacemakers: Hebrew equivalent of the Greek eirene, is shalom, meaning "completeness," "soundness," "prosperity," "condition of well-being"
Prayer:
Christ is the Prince of Peace. Lord Jesus, enable me to bring peace and reconciliation where there is hatred and enmity. I want to be a consecrated Christian that reflects Your virtue of peace and soundness by shedding Your love, light, joy, and comfort in my home, workplace and community. Make me a peacemaker today that is free from unjust anger, bigotry, hatred and contentiousness. In Your holy name I pray.
