Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.” And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” Matthew 8:5-7 NKJV
Prayer
Jesus heals. Lord Jesus, I am broken and I bow before You like this centurion and confess my need of Your healing power in my life. Please touch me and show me a token of Your grace. I ask You heal my mind from depressive thoughts. Heal my body of all sickness. Heal my spirit from sin that separates me from You. Heal any and all broken relationships in my life. Fill me with Your care and compassion for people that are in pieces and grant me an opportunity today to share the good news of Your saving power to someone who is paralyzed in life, and dreadfully tormented by the evil one. In Your powerful name I pray.
