But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?” Matthew 8:26-27 NKJV
Prayer
Jesus has all things under His control. Forgive my little faith Lord Jesus when I hit the panic button or buckle in faith when I'm tested. You are my place of refuge from the storm so I ask You to please rebuke the winds and deliver me from all my fears. Calm my heart today with Your living word and help me believe that You are in complete control over every sickness, relationship, and circumstance in my life. In Your mighty name I pray. Amen
GOD IS IN CONTROL - Barbara Belvins
Jesus is my refuge on life's stormy sea,
He's the one I run to when Satan gets after me.
I hold to Jesus when the sea waves do toss,
You'll find me there holding to the foot of his cross.
When you're at the red sea and it seems there's no way out,
Just stand in faith with Jesus and do not doubt.
He will part the sea and make a way out for you,
Just hold on to Jesus and you will make it through!
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the promise, prayer, and song of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "Christ, the Way, the Truth, & the Life" is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
