I have taken away that shame-Joshua 5:9

"I feel guilty and ashamed, what can I do?" These are words of hopelessness that my heart cried out before Jesus found me. No one can run from guilt and no one can hide their shame. The Bible tells us that every human has fallen short of God's glory, however, today's bible verse opens the gateway to deliverance from sin and shame. God loves you just as you are and He comes to your rescue by bringing you to Gilgal, the place where God rolls away your shame. The cross of Jesus is Gilgal today, so bow before Him right now and accept your deliverance from shame. Your new life, your new strength and your new hope is in the LORD who washes away ALL of your sins with His blood.

Bible verse for today: Then the Lord said to Joshua, “You were slaves in Egypt, and this made you ashamed. But today I have taken away that shame.” So Joshua named that place Gilgal. And that place is still named Gilgal (to roll) today. Joshua 5:9 ERV

Today's Prayer

Jesus rolled away all of my shame. I exalt You Lord Jesus that thank You for taking away all of my shame and disgrace at the cross. No longer do I need to be afraid; no longer do I need to suffer shame; no longer will I remember the reproach of my past sins. Guide me to help someone today who needs deliverance from shame. In Jesus name I pray.
