In God I trust-Job 13:15

How can I trust God in hard times? This is a great question that we all struggle with in life. The children of Israel witnessed some of the greatest miracles performed by God and immediately turned their backs on Him as soon as they faced hardships. They were forgetful of the LORD's blessings and constantly complained when life got hard instead of humbling themselves and turning to Him for divine intervention. The verse for today reveals the heart of faith that God loves and honors. For doubters, God is just a "genie" who they call upon or pray to when they find themselves in trials or tribulations. For true believers like Job, God is real regardless of their physical trials, sufferings, or troubles. I encourage you to trust in God and say with conviction; "Even though God slays me, I will trust in Him."  Know that God will help you through it all if you place your trust in Him again and again instead of giving up the fight.

Verse of strength in time of trial

Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him. Job 13:15 NKJV

Prayer of faith in time of trouble

I will trust and obey for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus. Merciful Father, please give me unwavering faith like Job to trust in You when bad things happen to me. Don't let me think of myself as a victim, who blames others for my problems or circumstances. I believe in Your promise that "ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THEM THAT LOVE YOU.' I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
