Words of comfort-Ruth 2:12

Do words create worlds? Yes, our words create worlds for people and today's bible verse opens the eyes of my heart to see how my words of kindness brings comfort to widows who have suffered the loss of their husbands or people in the workplace are going through hard times. God brings people like Ruth into your life that you may be like Boaz who spoke words of kindness that revived a downcast soul. Boaz is a reflection of Jesus Christ who longs to speak words of kindness and comfort to your heart. Come, sit at Jesus' feet, and open His living word that you may hear His voice that creates a world of comfort and hope for your life. 

Promise of comfort

Then Ruth said, “I hope I can continue to please you, sir. You are very kind. I am only a servant and not even one of your own servants. But you have said kind words to me and comforted me.” Ruth 2:13 ERV

Prayer of thanks for God's kindness and comfort

God's living word brings me comfort. LORD Jesus, thank You for speaking words of life and kindness that comfort my soul when I feel down or distressed. Walk with me, talk with me, and let me hear Your voice guiding me to someone today who needs support and encouragement. In Your name I pray.
