Prayer for Enlightenment-Awakening
Jesus brightens up my life. Father of lights, I praise You for sending Jesus Christ, the light of the world to cast out my darkness. Thank you for awakening my soul to newness of life. Enlighten the eyes of my heart O LORD to see others as You see them. Stir me to pray for my family and friends that they too may have vision to see the glorious hope that awaits Your people in heaven. Make me a light this day to someone who lives in darkness and hungers to know about the hope that is in Jesus. In His name I pray. Amen.
