I thank you, Lord, with all my heart; I sing praise to you before the gods. I face your holy temple, bow down, and praise your name because of your constant love and faithfulness, because you have shown that your name and your commands are supreme. You answered me when I called to you; with your strength you strengthened me. All the kings in the world will praise you, Lord, because they have heard your promises. They will sing about what you have done and about your great glory. Even though you are so high above, you care for the lowly, and the proud cannot hide from you. When I am surrounded by troubles, you keep me safe. You oppose my angry enemies and save me by your power. You will do everything you have promised; Lord, your love is eternal. Complete the work that you have begun. Psalms 138
STORY: A TIME TO REMEMBER OUR BLESSINGSA blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign that said, "I am blind, please help." His hat held only a few coins.
A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the boy's hat. He then asked the boy if he could borrow his sign. He turned it around and wrote some words. He put the sign back in his hands so everyone who walked by would see the new words.
Soon, the boy's hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon, the man who had changed the sign came to see how he was doing. The boy recognized his voice and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?"

The man said, 'I wrote the truth and said what you said, but in a different way.' It reads: "TODAY IS A BEAUTIFUL DAY BUT I CANNOT SEE IT."
When life gives you hundreds of reasons to weep, smile, and remember the thousands of blessings you have received from our Father in Heaven. Face your past without regret. Handle your present by trusting in Jesus Christ. Prepare for the future by asking the Holy Spirit to guide you in the narrow way. Stop worrying and start praying about everything.
