Bible Verse of the day

Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. Hebrews 6:17-18 NKJV

Prayer to trust in God's Immutable Character

God cannot lie. Father of truth, I thank You for sending Jesus to reveal Your immutability and integrity. I laid hold on Your promise of truth and have full confidence in the eternal hope that You have given me in Christ Jesus. Teach me to be a Christian who walks in the truth and does not lie. Please guide me to someone today who is deceived by the devil and needs deliverance from living a life of lies. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Definition of Immutability: An attribute where “God is unchanging in His character, will, and covenant promises." God is immutably wise, truthful, merciful, loving, good, and gracious.
