Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?” “From childhood,” he answered. “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”  Mark 9:21-24 NIV

Prayer to conquer unbelief

Forgive me Lord for putting limitations on You by letting doubt come into my mind when my faith is tested. I believe You have authority over every sickness, suffering, and impossibility. Teach me Holy Spirit how to conquer unbelief by turning to Jesus when I face challenging hardships in life. Lead someone across my path today who is facing an impossibility and needs to call upon Jesus who can make everything possible. In His mighty name I pray. Amen.
