Prayer to be loving like Jesus is to me

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for choosing to love me before I loved You. I appreciate the tremendous power Your love has in my life. Holy Spirit, deliver me from being a puffed up muffin Christian. Teach me how to strengthen people by loving them with the same love that Jesus has shown to me. Lead me to someone today who is brokenhearted and feels unloved. Open the heart of their eyes to see and feel the love of Jesus through my compassionate care and acts of kindness. I pray for their healing Jesus' mighty name.

It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
