PASSOVER: You are forgiven and made new in Christ - 1 Corinthians 5:7

Holy scripture of the day about you are forgiven and made new in Christ, the Passover Lamb


Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough? Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. 1 Corinthians 5:6-7 NIV


Truth: Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. Your past sins are forgiven, and He, the Passover Lamb makes everything new. 


Prayer for today about getting rid of sinful practices through Christ, the Passover Lamb  

Lord Jesus, I believe You are my Passover lamb who died on the cross to save me from the wages of sin and death. You alone have the power to make me a new creation. Holy Spirit, give me the inner strength to not allow the yeast of sin to corrupt my spirit, soul, mind, and body. Give me a heart like Jesus that hates sin and loves righteousness. Lead people across my path that are enslaved to sinful habits and are being misled by the lies of the devil. Use my care and support to help them call upon Jesus for forgiveness and deliverance. I pray for their salvation in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
