So Jesus and his disciples got up and went with him (the leader of a synagogue). Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.” Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” He said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment. Prayer for today

I praise You, Lord Jesus, for coming to my rescue and healing me of my spiritual, emotiojal, and physical sicknesses. Like this woman, I turn to You in faith and ask for Your healing hand upon my life. Holy Spirit, strengthen my faith in Jesus so I keep moving forward despite temporary sicknesses or troubles that I experience in life. Guide someone across my path today who is suffering and needs my support. Use my love and care to give them new hope. Speak unto me the words You want me to share that stirs them to faith in Christ Jesus.
