Prayer to be humble like a child

Forgive me Lord Jesus for my lack of humility. Thank You for setting the bar as the greatest example of humility by the way you pleased our Heavenly Father and cared for people. Teach me Holy Spirit to be like Christ Jesus by doing nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in meekness considering others better than myself. Allow me this day to demonstrate childlike humility by focusing on the interests of Jesus and the needs of people that You place in my path. Change me in Jesus’ mighty name.
