Prayer to receive and love little children like Jesus

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for placing such a high value on children. As a parent, I praise You for the gift of my children and realize the great worth each of my children and grandchildren has in my life. Forgive me for the times I have blown it as a parent by being a poor example. Holy Spirit, help me to never be a stumbling block to my children by being a hypocrite. Teach me to model Jesus by welcoming and caring for children just as Jesus loves me. Grant me opportunities this day to welcome and bless a little child so they feel God’s love and be drawn to Jesus. Amen
