I’ll say it again—it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!” The disciples were astounded. “Then who in the world can be saved?” they asked. Prayer for today

It is impossible for me to be saved by my own merits. I believe Lord Jesus, that You are the Vine and I am a branch. As I remain in You, and You in me, my life will be fruitful, significant, and complete. For apart from You I can do nothing. Help me Holy Spirit to rely upon God who does the impossible. Stop me from relying on the false god of mammon by being on guard against greed and the love of money. Guide a wealthy person across my path today who has an abundance of worldly possessions yet feels empty inside and is ruled by a spirit of discontentment. Grant me an opportunity to care, share, and pray with them so they trust in God and place their faith in Christ Jesus who makes our lives complete. Save them in Jesus’ mighty name.
