Prayer for today

You, Father God, are the greatest giver. You never withold the best from me. Thank You for showing all humanity how much You love us by giving Your beloved Son to die on the cross for our sins. In return, I donate back what belongs to You and surrender my life to the Lordship of Christ Jesus. Teach me Holy Spirit the valuable lesson of being a responsible Christian by giving to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and being an authentic disciple of Christ by giving to God what belongs to God. Guide someone across my path today who has a misunderstanding of what God wants. Grant me an opportunity to befriend them and wisdom to share this truth about giving to God what belongs to God which is our lives. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray.
