Prayer for today

I praise You, Lord Jesus, for Your sacrificial love and unstoppable determination to save humanity. Deep gratitude is what I feel in my heart for Your willingness to be forsaken by God so that I would never be forsaken. Thank You for taking my place at the cross and wiping away all of sin and shame with Your precious blood. Guide me Holy Spirit to someone today who feels forsaken by family members, friends, or God. Use my care to open their heart to hear about the unfailing love of Jesus. Please rescue them in Jesus' mighty name.

I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I love you and pray my life has influenced each of you in a small way to believe in Christ Jesus and to accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
