SAVED: Jesus saved others, not Himself - Matthew 27:42

The holy scripture of the day about Jesus saved others, not Himself - Learn more

The high priests, along with the religion scholars and leaders, were right there mixing it up with the rest of them, having a great time poking fun at Jesus: “He saved others—he can’t save himself! King of Israel, is he? Then let him get down from that cross. We’ll all become believers then! He was so sure of God—well, let Him rescue His ‘Son’ now—if He wants him! He did claim to be God’s Son, didn’t he?” Even the two criminals crucified next to him joined in the mockery. Matthew 26:41-44 MSG

Quote: “The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ came to do three things. He came to have my past forgiven, to give me a purpose for living and to prepare a home in Heaven." - Rick Warren

Praise to Christ Jesus for my salvation

From the very lips of Your haters, Lord Jesus came forth the undeniable truth, that You came to save others and not Yourself. You poured out Your soul to death. You bore my griefs and carried my sorrows. You allowed Yourself to be stricken and smitten by God for my sins. You were pierced for my transgressions and were crushed for my iniquities. Upon You, was laid the punishment that I deserved that brought me peace. Your unstoppable love fills my heart with hope and by Your wounds, I am healed. I confess with my mouth that You are LORD and believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead so all who trust in You can be saved. Amen!
