Prayer to be delivered from depression

Loving Savior, I want to thank You for teaching me the importance of praying when I feel depressed or troubled. Although life is hard at times, You are the same yesterday, today and forever. Strengthen my faith Holy Spirit by stirring me to pray like Jesus did when I feel overwhelmed with sorrow. Bring someone across my path today that is experiencing depression as a result of a personal crisis or spiritual warfare. Use me to give them new hope and deliver them from their pit of darkness as we pray and call upon the powerful name of JESUS! Amen.
