Prayer of submissiveness to Christ the LORD

You can see Lord Jesus, we are living in a time where there is a true lack of respect for You and authorities. People of all types belittling God and hating one another so please forgive our rebellious hearts and have mercy on us. I bow before Your presence and subject myself to Your Lordship and authority. Help me Holy Spirit to live a life that reflects obedience and true submissiveness to Christ. Grant me an opportunity this day to be a godly influence on someone who is insubordinate to Christ. Lead them to repentance and salvation in Jesus’ mighty name.
