Prayer for protection and defense

Thank You, Almighty Father, for being my abiding defender and the Guardian of my soul. I come into Your presence Lord Jesus for You are the Great Shepherd of the sheep who died for me, fights for me, and saves me from the evil one. I ask for Your divine protection over my family and friends from Satan the marauder who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy everything and everyone. Use me Holy Spirit to help encourage someone today who feels weak, defenseless, and alone. I pray for their salvation in Jesus’ mighty name.
