Prayer for the Lord to be my shepherd

You, O LORD, are my shepherd who meets my every need. There is nothing I lack. You make me lie down in green pastures. You lead me beside still waters. You restore my soul. You lead me in paths of righteousness for Your name's sake. Remind me, Holy Spirit, that even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for my Good Shepherd, Christ Jesus, is with me; His rod and His staff will comfort me. Never will He abandon me nor forsake me. Amen
