Prayer for today

God will never turn a deaf ear to me if I recognize my utter need for Him. I confess, Lord Jesus, that I am spiritually bankrupt and insignificant without You in my life. Guide me Holy Spirit to someone today who is both spiritually, mentally, and physically poor. Open the eyes of their heart to perceive their poverty condition and the destitute life they have without the LORD. Grant me an opportunity to point them to the hidden treasure and unfathomable riches that God has given us in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
