HOPE: The Sovereign Lord is your hope - Psalm 71:5

Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel. For You have been my hope, Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth. Psalm 71:4-5 NIV

Prayer for today

As for me, I will always have hope because, according to God's great mercy, He has caused me to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Please help me, Holy Spirit, to keep in mind that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy of being compared with the glorious hope that is to be revealed when I see Jesus. Guide a hopeless person across my path today who is being destroyed by the devil. Use my care to open the door to share this wonderful promise of eternal hope that Christ gives to all who believe in Him.
