Prayer for mercy

Without God's mercy, my life would be disastrous. Thank You, loving Father, for extending such great mercy to me when I deserved Your wrath and just punishment. I recognize Your mercy when I look at The Cross of Christ, and remember the blood-price Jesus paid in laying down His life to save me from the wages of sin and eternal death. Holy Spirit, please guide someone across my path today who is overwhelmed with guilt and crushed with shame. Lead me in sharing this wonderful promise of God's mercy and forgiveness for sinners like me. Awake their soul and free them I pray from self-condemnation as we call upon the mighty name of Jesus our Savior. Hosanna! (Save us now)
