REDEEMED: The LORD is your Redeemer - Psalm 78:35

The word of hope for today about the LORD is your Redeemer

Then they remembered that God was their rock, that God Most High was their redeemer. Psalm 78:35

The Hebrew meaning of redeem: The Hebrew verb "gā'al" has a central meaning in "to regain possession of by payment" or "buy back something that was lost." In the Old Testament, the verb "gā'al" has been translated as "to redeem", "ransom", and "do the part of a kinsman."

Quote: "I thought I could have leaped from earth to heaven at one spring when I first saw my sins drowned in the Redeemer's blood." - Charles Spurgeon

Prayer to cherish my Redemption

I am God's possession and will forever remember that I have been redeemed by the precious blood of Christ. God Most High, I thank You for saving me and buying me back from Lucifer, the destroyer of my soul through Christ Jesus, my Redeemer. Take my life and let it be consecrated Lord to Thee, my Rock, and wonderful Redeemer. Please remind me, Holy Spirit, that I have been bought with a price and now I belong to Jesus. I pray in His mighty name!
