Prayer of honor for our Veterans & Jesus Christ 

Dear Father, in memory of my beloved uncle, and Veteran, Roger Partington, I thank You for the sacrifice of Veterans like him who laid down their lives to protect and save helpless people in third world countries. Would you please comfort and remind families who have lost loved ones that served our country that their deaths were not in vain? I also bow to worship and honor my Lord Jesus, who humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross intended for despicable criminals. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your willingness to sacrifice Your life for sinners and for loving us unto the very end. Holy Spirit, help me to be a living sacrifice by having the greater love of Yeshua so I am prepared to lay down my life for my friends. Please guide me this day to a Veteran that You want me to respect and honor. Use me to uplift their spirit and significance in Jesus' mighty name.
