Prayer to be a persevering Christian in 2022

Dear Jesus, I praise You for sacrificing Your precious life on the tree of death so I could have the hope of eating from the tree of life in paradise. As this year comes to a close, I praise You for Your grace and truth that empowers me to persevere in times of trouble. Holy Spirit, please guide a family member, friend, or stranger across my path today who is eating from the tree of death and feels hopeless. Use my care and friendship to help point them to Christ Jesus our Redeemer and wonderful Savior, who imparts bravery into our hearts and makes us more than conquerors! Amen.
