CHOSEN: You have been chosen by God - 1 Peter 1:1-2

Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To God's elect, exiles scattered throughout the provinces of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia, who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with His blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance. 1 Peter 1:1-2 NIV

handpicked for His vine
to serve and worship Him
to bring Him glory divine.

We are chosen by God,
an heir unto salvation
the Word is our living hope
our eternal foundation!

Praise & Prayer
Holy Father, I praise You for choosing and sanctifying (to make holy; to free from sin; to set apart) imperfect individuals like me through the Spirit to be on Your team. I love how you pick and save the nobodies of this world and transform them into somebodies in front of everybody. Thank You for sprinkling my life with the precious blood of Jesus that frees me from all sin. Please fill my heart, Holy Spirit, with unwavering devotion to be an obedient Christian who brings honor to my Lord Jesus Christ. Use me this day to uplift family members, friends, or people in the marketplace who are clueless about being chosen by God. Open the eyes of their heart to believe, accept, and confess Jesus as their Lord. Amen!
