Do you feel whole and complete,
or sense there's something missing?
Are you aware of an emptiness
and find your mind always drifting?

Do you try to fill that void,
with people, things, and places?
Do your achievements and rewards
take up all those empty spaces?

Are you searching for significance,
something that'll give your life meaning?
Are you looking for heaven on earth
but find that your heart is still bleeding?

Are you carrying a life-long burden,
that keeps you from finding God's peace?
Are you hauling around your past sin
so your guilt and shame never cease?

Then my friend you must let Jesus,
penetrate into your heart and soul
and the root of your incompleteness
He will reveal . . . and make you whole.

Praise & Prayer to experience God's perfect love.

Your love, Father God, completes me and fills every empty void in my life. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for revealing the Father's heart of love by loving sinners like me who fumbled in life and felt like complete failures. Please enlarge my heart with Your endless love, so I grow in loving others as You love me. Please guide me, Holy Spirit, to someone today who has holes in their heart and constantly says to themselves, "I can't get no satisfaction in life no matter what I try or possess." Allow them to experience God's perfect love that completes us as I share this incredible truth and pray for them in Jesus' mighty name.

My Departing Words

To my loving and patient wife, Michele, my beloved son David, my radiant daughter-in-law Blair, my cherished son Joshua, my compassionate daughter Anna, my steadfast son-in-law, Jeff, my empathetic daughter Christina, my go-getter son-in-law Miles, my bright and persevering granddaughter, Blake, my beautiful and tenderhearted granddaughter, Zoey, my strong and handsome grandson, Wyatt, my tender-hearted and precious granddaughter Talia, my jubilant and adorable granddaughter, Romi, and to all of my caring family and faithful friends. I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I ask you to please forgive me if I've wronged any of you and did not ask for your forgiveness. I love you and pray my life has influenced each of you in a small way to believe in Christ Jesus and to accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
