Praise & Prayer to read, hear, and obey God's Word.

My good fortune and the happiest day of my life was when You, Lord Jesus, found me and rescued me from the jaws of the lion, Satan. I praise You for wiping away my sin and shame and giving me a new start and a new life. I am blessed by reading Your Word, which empowers me. I am blessed by hearing Your Word, which comforts me. I am blessed by obeying Your Word, which completes me. Thank You for the priceless blessings I have received from God our Father through You, my Master and Savior. Holy Spirit, please help me make the most of the time and opportunities God grants me each day. Guide someone across my path today who feels afraid and does not have much time left here on earth. Use me to be a channel of God's blessing as I share God's love letter. Speak newness of life and hope into their soul and eradicate all fear from their heart as they read, hear, and obey God's word. Hosanna, in Jesus' mighty name.

To my loving and patient wife, Michele, my beloved son David, my radiant daughter-in-law Blair, my cherished son Joshua, my compassionate daughter Anna, my steadfast son-in-law, Jeff, my empathetic daughter Christina, my go-getter son-in-law Miles, my bright and persevering granddaughter, Blake, my beautiful and tenderhearted granddaughter, Zoey, my strong and handsome grandson, Wyatt, my tender-hearted and precious granddaughter Talia, my jubilant and adorable granddaughter, Romi, and to all of my caring family and faithful friends. I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I ask you to please forgive me if I've wronged any of you and did not ask for your forgiveness. I love you and pray my life has influenced each of you in a small way to believe in Christ Jesus and to accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
