But the word of God continued to spread and flourish. Acts 12:24
POEM: "GOD'S WORD" by Cindy Wyatt.
I love God's Word more than fine gold
for it renews me when my heart grows cold.
God's word gives me understanding and light
and makes my spirit soar to a new height.
Great riches are in the Word of the Lord
It is my strength, my shield and sword
A lamp unto my feet and pathway
Showing new wonders day by day.
Sweeter than a honeycomb and so pure
Every word faithful and true to be sure
Meditating on the Word to stay alive
The spiritual food to feed on and thrive.
Praise & Prayer to treasure and obey God's Word
Your Word, LORD GOD, is living, infallible, true, powerful, inconquerable, life-changing, and eternal. Lord Jesus, I praise You for opening my eyes to comprehend that You are the Word of God who became flesh. You revealed to me and all of the peoples of this world the amazing attributes and virtues of our Creator and Heavenly Father. Holy Spirit, please remind me that no matter what atheists (evolutionists, cynics, etc.) say or try to discredit the truth of God's Word, it will continue to be unstoppable and reach more and more people every day. Give me this day a greater hunger and thirst for God's Word that enriches my life and causes me to flourish and grow stronger in my faith. I pray in the mighty name above all names, Jesus Christ, my Savior.
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the verse and prayer of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to Christ our Savior is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory of God.
