ASSURANCE: God will make you completely sure - Colossians 1:9

Since the day we heard these things about you, we have continued praying for you. This is what we pray: that God will make you completely sure of what He wants by giving you all the wisdom and spiritual understanding you need. Colossians 1:9 ERV

Prayer & Praise
In the darkest nights and times of trouble, I will cling to the blessed assurance that God loves me and has a perfect plan for my life. Thank You, Heavenly Father, for giving me all the wisdom and understanding I need to be completely sure of what lies ahead so I never backslide or wander away from following my Lord Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, please guide me to someone struggling with doubt and insecurity. Allow them to experience the blessed assurance that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I pray for their deliverance in Jesus' mighty name.

My Departing Words

To my loving and patient wife, Michele, my beloved son David, my radiant daughter-in-law Blair, my cherished son Joshua, my compassionate daughter Anna, my steadfast son-in-law, Jeff, my empathetic daughter Christina, my go-getter son-in-law Miles, my bright and persevering granddaughter, Blake, my beautiful and tenderhearted granddaughter, Zoey, my strong and handsome grandson, Wyatt, my tender-hearted and precious granddaughter Talia, my jubilant and adorable granddaughter, Romi, and to all of my caring family and faithful friends. I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I ask you to please forgive me if I've wronged any of you and did not ask for your forgiveness. I love you and pray my life has influenced each of you in a small way to believe in Christ Jesus and to accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
