Jesus knew that His mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture He said, “I Am thirsty.” A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to His lips. When Jesus had tasted it, He said, “It is finished!” Then He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. John 19:28-30 NLT
Praise & Worship
I rejoice in Your finished work, Lord Jesus, that paid in full the great price of my sin and debt. Your triumph over death and the powers of darkness on the cross have given me hope for the forgiveness of my sins, reconciliation with God, and the promise of eternal life. I will never forget the sacrificial love and boundless mercy that You poured out without reservation to save the many who believe in You. Please teach me, Holy Spirit, to live in a way that honors and reflects the gift of salvation that I’ve received through the finished work of my Savior. I worship and glorify the mighty works of Jesus and praise His holy name. Hallelujah!
