KNOWN: If you love God, you are known by Him - 1 Corinthians 8:3

Now concerning food sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge makes one conceited, but love edifies people. If anyone thinks that he knows anything, he has not yet known as he ought to know; but if anyone loves God, he is known by Him. 1 Corinthians 8:1-3 NAS

Praise & Prayer
Thank you, Heavenly Father, for teaching me through this scripture about the greatness and importance of love over knowledge. Holy Spirit, please deliver me from being a conceited know-it-all Christian who alienates family members and fellow believers from the faith. Lord Jesus, I want to be recognized as a God-lover by prioritizing the needs of others above my own. Teach me to become more like You so that I can uplift and support the lives of those around me, just as You have done for me. I pray in Your mighty name.

To my loving and patient wife, Michele, my beloved son David, my radiant daughter-in-law Blair, my cherished son Joshua, my compassionate daughter Anna, my steadfast son-in-law, Jeff, my empathetic daughter Christina, my go-getter son-in-law Miles, my bright and persevering granddaughter, Blake, my beautiful and tenderhearted granddaughter, Zoey, my strong and handsome grandson, Wyatt, my tender-hearted and precious granddaughter Talia, my jubilant and adorable granddaughter, Romi, and to all of my caring family and faithful friends. I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
