PRIZE: Run to win the prize that will last forever - 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 ERV

You know that in a race all the runners run, but only one runner gets the prize. So run like that. Run to win! All who compete in the games use strict training. They do this so that they can win a prize—one that doesn’t last. But our prize is one that will last forever. 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 ERV

Infallible Truth: "But whatever former things were gains to me [as I thought then], these things [once regarded as advancements in merit] I have come to consider as loss [absolutely worthless] for the sake of Christ [and the purpose which He has given my life]. But more than that, I count everything as loss compared to the priceless privilege and supreme advantage of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord [and of growing more deeply and thoroughly acquainted with Him—a joy unequaled]. -Philippians 3:6-7

Praise & Prayer
Lord Jesus, nothing this world has to offer me is as wonderful as knowing You. I want to keep running the race of life that You've set before me, aiming to win the greatest prize, which is to be with You for all eternity. Holy Spirit, ignite my spirit with fire from above. Give me the inner fortitude to keep pressing ahead when I face difficult challenges as a follower of Christ. Help me keep running for Jesus and never quit until I reach the finish line that God has determined for me on earth. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus, my Victor, Lord, and Savior.
