I gave you the message that I received. I told you the most important truths: that Christ died for our sins, as the Scriptures say; that he was buried and was raised to life on the third day, as the Scriptures say; and that He appeared to Peter and then to the twelve apostles. 1 Corinthians 15:3-5 ERV
Praise & Prayer
Lord Jesus, as we celebrate Your birth, I treasure the truths in my heart that You sacrificed Your sinless body on the cross for my sins and were raised to life on the third day to give me and all who believe in You the hope of everlasting life. Thank You for fulfilling the Holy Scriptures by appearing to Peter and Your apostles, helping them overcome their unbelief and fears after witnessing Your torturous and undeserved death. I praise You for appearing to me when I was 18 years old and felt hopeless. Because of You, I am convinced that nothing can ever separate me from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither my fears for today nor my worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can ever separate me from God’s love because of Your birth and resurrection. Please lead me, Lord, to someone today who feels unredeemable. I pray You appear to them and ask this in Your mighty and glorious name, amen!
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the verse and prayer of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "The Truth, Christ our Savior," is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
