GRACE: By the grace of God, I am what I am - 1 Corinthians 15:10

For I [Paul] am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 1 Corinthians 15: 9-10

Infallible Truth: "For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for God's salvation]." Ephesians 2:8-9

Praise & Prayer
I am in awe of Your amazing grace and mercy, loving Father. Like Paul, I don't deserve such favor and realize that I am what I am today because of what Christ, my Savior, did for me at the cross. Lord Jesus, I can never thank You enough for Your boundless grace that surpasses all my sin and shame. Holy Spirit, please help me avoid taking God's grace for granted by disobeying His word. Teach me to work hard in doing what pleases God by caring for people who are in pain and sharing the good news about His boundless love in Christ. Guide me to someone today who is guilt-ridden and feels undeserving of God's grace. I pray for their salvation in Jesus’ mighty name.
