IMPORTANT: You are important in the body of Christ - 1 Corinthians 12:22

In fact, some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary. And the parts we regard as less honorable are those we clothe with the greatest care. So we carefully protect those parts that should not be seen, while the more honorable parts do not require this special care. So God has put the body together such that extra honor and care are given to those parts that have less dignity. This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other. If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad. 1 Corinthians 12:22-26 NLT

Infallible Truth: "Brothers and sisters, consider what you were when God called you to be Christians. Not many of you were wise from a human point of view. You were not in powerful positions or in the upper social classes. But God chose what the world considers nonsense to put wise people to shame. God chose what the world considers weak to put what is strong to shame. God chose what the world considers ordinary and what it despises-what it considers to be nothing in order to destroy what it considers to be something. As a result, no one can brag in God's presence." 1 Corinthians 1:26-29; "By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another.” John 13:35; "Treat people the same way you want them to treat you. If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them." Luke 6:31-32

Praise & Prayer
I praise and worship You, Abba Father, for opening my eyes and helping me understand the great importance You place on every person in the body of Christ. Please teach me, Holy Spirit, to love my brothers and sisters as Christ does by protecting their worth and making them feel valued. Help me to avoid thinking too highly of myself, reminding me that my importance and worth as a person comes from what Christ Jesus has done for me, in me, and through me, not from my social status or bank account. Guide me to someone today who is suffering and in need of my care. I pray this in Jesus' mighty name.
