If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right. But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. James 2:8-10 NIV
Eternal Truth: "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked." Luke 6:32-35; "By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” John 6:35
Prayer & Praise
Please fill me, Lord Jesus, with a royal heart of love that enables me to love my spouse, children, family, and neighbors as You love me. Thank You for seeking, embracing, accepting, and transforming sinners like me with Your unquenchable love, which even Your enemies could not conquer. Holy Spirit, please place someone in my path today who needs my love and help without showing favoritism. Let them see and feel the power of Christ's love through my compassionate care and acts of kindness. I pray for their faith in God to blossom in Jesus' mighty name.
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the promise, prayer, and song of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "Christ, the Way, the Truth, & the Life" is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
