Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom. For judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment. James 2:12-13 BSB
Infallible Truth: "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." Matthew 5:7; "Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful." Luke 6:36; "Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?" Matthew 18:33; "Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]." Romans 8:1
Praise & Prayer
Abba Father, I bow in reverence to praise You for the great mercy You have shown me, a wretched sinner, through Christ Jesus. I'm so grateful that Your mercies are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness. Holy Spirit, please teach me to have a heart of mercy so that I forgive the wrongs of others as I have been forgiven. Bring someone across my path today who is battling self-condemnation and believes that the sins they have committed or the sins they are committing are unforgivable. Grant me an opportunity to share this wonderful truth about God's mercy that frees us from judgment and condemnation. Stir their heart to accept God's mercy, which is stronger than darkness and greater than their sin, through faith in Jesus Christ. Hosanna [save now]!
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the promise, prayer, and song of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "Christ, the Way, the Truth, & the Life" is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
